    2. Eloy Water Tower Lighting
      If you are interested in lighting the Eloy Water Tower a specific color(s) to recognize a community impacting initiative or create community awareness, please review the lighting criteria and application below. All requests must be submitted a minimum of 30 days prior to the requested lighting date and must be made through the formal application. Lighting requests made via social media campaigns will not be considered.
    4. Lighting Criteria and Terms of Application:
      • Approved application requests will be limited to up to a three day maximum time period.
      • Lighting requests will be granted on a first come first serve basis.
      • There is no automatic annual agreement renewal, and past Lighting participants will be required to apply each year to be considered.
      • The applicant/contact on the originally submitted application will receive written notification, stating application approval or denial, sent via e-mail within 10 business days of the application being received.
      • The City of Eloy is under no obligation to provide specific feedback to any individual or organization regarding the status, merit and/or denial of its application.
      • Approved lightings may be re-scheduled due to priority requests of the City of Eloy.
      • Blackout dates - Dates from the end of November through the second week in January will be reserved for the City of Eloy Seasonal Light Program.
      • The City of Eloy will maintain traditional lightings for the following dates: Arizona Statehood Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Patriot Day, Halloween and Veteran’s Day.
      • Only one request application per organization will be accepted within a 12-month period.
    6. Applications will be given additional consideration if the request falls within one of the following categories:

      • Extraordinary events/occurrences of City, State, National or International significance

      • Organization request for recognition of an awareness initiative(s)

      • City of Eloy initiatives and selected holidays

      • The observance of a passing City of Eloy employee:

            o Active Duty Passing- annually on passing anniversary.
            o Not in line of Duty Current Employee Passing- one time in memory of employee passing.

    8. Applications that will not be considered:
      The City of Eloy will not consider lighting requests for advertisement or commercial promotions; for personal or any one individual’s celebration or memorial; or for groups that discriminate against age, disability, race, religion, gender or sexual orientation.
