1. How do I get a library card?

Visit the Eloy Santa Cruz Library and complete an application. You must show a photo ID to verify identity, and present documentation showing current residential address. Acceptable documentation can include rent receipts, electric bills, mail showing name and address, among others. An Arizona Vehicle Operators License will qualify for the photo ID requirement, but will not suffice for proof of residence. If you are under 14, your parent or guardian must provide identification and sign the application.

Your 1st library card is free. If you need a replacement card there is a $1 fee.

2. I have a library card from another Pinal County library. Can I use it at the Eloy Santa Cruz Library?

Yes. However, please note that lending policies and late fines vary from library to library. Please ask the circulation staff what our policies are before checking out material from the Eloy Santa Cruz Library.

3. Can I return items from other Pinal County libraries at the Eloy Santa Cruz Library?

Yes, we will check the items in at our circulation desk, and then send them to the owning library via our twice weekly courier service.

4. Is the Library open on Saturday or Sunday?

No, the library is only open on weekdays, from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

5. I don't have a Pinal County library card, can I still use the Internet?

Yes.  Patrons with a valid ID showing out of county residence may use the library's computers using a free guest pass.  Pinal County residents may use the library's computers with a guest pass, but must pay a 50 cent fee.  Additionally, the library has free Wi-Fi access available during open hours using the SecLibPub network. Please come inside the building to obtain the password.
