2024 City Elections

On Friday, February 9, 2024, Governor Hobbs signed House Bill 2785 which moved Arizona’s primary election date from August 6, 2024, to July 30, 2024. The bill went into effect immediately.  The City has updated its elections website page with the latest information related to the new primary election date.  Please contact the City Clerk’s office at 520-466-9201 or mmyers@eloyaz.gov for additional information.

Eloy City Council elections are nonpartisan.


Election Dates

  • Primary Election - July 30, 2024

  • General Election - November 5, 2024

Voter Registration Deadline

  • Primary Election - July 1, 2024 

  • General Election - October 7, 2024 

Early Voting:

  • July 3, 2024 - first day early ballots are mailed for the Primary Election 

  • October 9, 2024 - first day early ballots are mailed for the General Election

Eloy’s elections coincide with the State fall elections in even-numbered years. The City Primary Election will be held on August 6, 2024, and the General Election will be held on November 5, 2024.   Information relating to the election will be posted on this section of the City’s website.
