Win a $100 Gift Card!

The City of Eloy will award one $100 Visa gift card to an Eloy resident who has filled out his or her 2020 Census form.  The card will be drawn on Friday August 21, 2020.   

When you fill out your questionnaire online, be sure to print out your receipt.  Take a photo of it and send it to the City.  

If you use the paper Census questionnaire, please take two photos: one of you filling out the questionnaire and another of the questionnaire showing your address. Do not take a picture of your answers to the Census.

If you have already completed your Census questionnaire, you may download this form, which allows you to state that your household has filled out your census questionnaire.  Fill it out, take a picture of it and send it to the City.

All photos must be submitted by 5:00 pm, on Monday August 17, 2020.

Remember that you will bring $30,000 to our community for each person in your household if you fill out your Census form!

You can fill it out over the telephone in English by dialing 844-330-2020 or in Spanish at 844-468-2020.

Everyone who is awarded a gift card will be asked to use the card in Eloy, which will help to bolster our local economy.

This drawing is not open to City employees and their households or to residents who have won a Census drawing previously.

  • Self-response is quick, easy, and can be done online, by phone, or by mail.
  • Making sure you are counted now is the easiest way to ensure an enumerator does not knock on your door in the future.
  • As we face this public health crisis, participating in the Census now helps secure future funding for our communities.
  • Emergencies like the COVID-19 pandemic are precisely why the government needs accurate Census data.
  • Census participation will help ensure our communities get their fair share of funding for schools, hospitals, and other education and health programs we need for strong families.
  • Residents can self-respond to the Census online at https://my2020census.gov/ or over the phone in English by dialing 844-330-2020 or in Spanish at 844-468-2020.

  • In light of the COVID-19 situation, the Census Bureau has extended the self-response period through August 14.

Census 2020 EnglishStarting March 12, 2020, every home in Eloy will need to complete a U.S. Census form.  On that form you must list everyone who lives in your home, including children.

There will be no citizenship question!

Why does the Census matter to me?

  • For every person who is counted in Eloy, we gain $3,000 every year from the U.S. Government. The money goes to the State, County and the City of Eloy.
  • That money is used for programs such as:
  1. School Lunch Programs
  2. WIC - Women, Infants, and Children
  3. Snap - Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program
  4. Head Start
  5. CAHRA
  6. Housing Assistance
  7. Medicaid - AHCCCS

Will my information be protected? Yes! U.S. law says that all personal census information cannot be shared.Together we count

Census 2020 SpanishComenzando el 12 de Marzo del 2020, cada hogar en Eloy tendrá que llenar un formulario para el Censo del EE.UU. En el formulario, tiene que enlistar a cada persona que vive en el hogar, incluyendo a los niños.

 ¿Por qué me debe de importar el Censo?
