The Support Services Division is responsible for the overall administrative functions of the Police Department and the Criminal Investigative Division. Examples include, but are not limited to:
Communications
Investigation Division
Computer and Telephone Operations
Fiscal Planning and Management
Policy and Procedures
Purchasing

Public Relations Programs

Criminal Investigation Division (CID)

The CID Division is responsible for conducting in-depth investigations of all major crimes, such as murder, robbery, rape, burglary, and serious assaults. They also conduct follow-up investigations of crimes initially investigated by the Patrol Division determined on a
case-by-case basis.

Investigations consists of 3 general investigation detectives, 1 sex crimes/special victim detective, and 1 identification / evidence technician. There are also detectives assigned to the Pinal County Narcotics Task Force and Arizona Department of Public Safety GIITEM.
